Manchester United will part ways with their executive Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward at the end of the current season as the  49-year old will step down from his role. The move came after the proposed European Super League got suspended. According to many British media outlets, Woodward was instrumental in setting up the new league and convinced the United's board to join. Woodward joined United in 2005 and was appointed as the Executive Vice Chairman in 2012.
