Khushi Chindaliya, a 17-year-old from Surat has been named as the Regional Ambassador for India by United Nations Environment Programme, Tunza Eco-Generation.
A quest for conservation and sensitivity towards the environment won her the coveted post. Khushi will undertake various projects with TEG until February next year, with a host of virtual discussions on how education can help. In an interview with the Times of India, she said, she will be sharing reports and discussing the conservation initiatives undertaken by the government .
That's not all, she's also one among 100 young people of India whose essays were chosen by UNESCO and will be published in a book called Year 1 AC (After Coronavirus): Essays by 100 Young Indians.'.
