Ending months of speculation, The AIIMS medical board on October 3 stated that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was a suicide and not a murder. Dr Sudhir Gupta, who led the AIIMS’ panel re-evaluating the actor’s post-mortem report said that there were no injuries on the body other than of hanging. Hindustan Times’ Senior Editor Aditi Prasad caught up with Supreme Court lawyer Aashutosh Srivastava to discuss the AIIMS report. Srivastava said that it is too early to rule out murder in the case since the report has not been made public.
