Calling out the trolls, the Congress leader in his Tweet wrote, 'dear Virat, these people are filled with hate nobody gives them any love, forgive them.

Following this, #dearvirat started trending. While mostly the netizens are supporting, some are sarcastically calling out Kohli for his poor performance as the leader of the Indian cricket team.
This will be Kohli's last World Cup as the skipper. The 32-year-old has decided to step down from his post and in the upcoming NZ series, Rohit Sharma is expected to lead the team.
Kohli's team has lost both the matches in the World Cup so far and if they fail to secure a big margin win in their next game, India would not enter the WC semis.
