The ICC on Monday picked its T20 World Cup 2021 team of the tournament and no Indian player found a place on the list of 12 players.

The list includes players from 6 different countries including Sri Lanka and South Africa, with Pakistan's Babar Azam named as the skipper. While the Jury members didn't find any Indian player deserving enough to make it to the list, South Africa's Aiden Markram and Anirch Nortje and Sri Lanka's Charith Asalanka and Wanindu Hasaranga were the players who were included in the team despite their teams not making it to the semi-finals.

India came into the World T20 as one of the favourites but couldn't go past the Group stage.
