Dr. Saheer Sainalabdeen, the Indian doctor who treated Pakistan's prolific wicketkeeper-batsman feels that his speedy recovery was miraculous. Before Pakistan's World T20 semifinal match against Australia, on Tuesday Rizwan got admitted to a hospital with a complaint of chest pain, after further check-ups the 29-year-old cricketer was shifted to ICU for 2 days.

While the doctor was astonished by his fierce determination of getting back to the team, he said, 'Rizwan had a severe infection, removing and gaining fitness before the semis seemed unrealistic It would have taken 5-7 days for anyone to recover from that situation.
Dr. Saheer also revealed that the opener would continuously tell him that he needs to play the World T20 and that he needs to get back to his team.

Although Pakistan lost the semis, Rizwan, who was discharged a day before scored a stunning 52 ball 67, the highest in the match.
