Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram elated by Pakistan's win against India at the World T20 not only heaped praise on Babar Azam's team but also reminded them to focus on the task ahead.
Azam and his teammates thrashed India in their World T20 opener by 10 wickets as they ended their long wait for a World Cup win against the neighboring nation. Speaking to India Today, Akram said, 'In my lifetime I wanted to see that and I saw that and it was a convincing win'. The former skipper further asked the team to focus on the World Cup now.
Pakistan PM and World Cup-winning skipper Imran Khan and PCB chief Ramiz Raja also congratulated the team for achieving the historic feat.
