Actor Taapsee Pannu has wrapped up shooting for 'Shabaash Mithu', which is a biopic based on the Indian women's cricket team captain, Mithali Raj. Mithali has been leading the Indian women’s ODI team and is said to be the highest run-getter in women’s international cricket.

Taapsee shared a photo from the set on Instagram, and wrote, "8 ki thi jab kisi ne ek Sapna dikhaya tha, ki ek din ayega jab Cricket sirf gentleman’s game nahi hoga. Humaari bhi ek team hogi, ek pehchaan hogi"
'Shabaash Mithu' is helmed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios. The movie has been shot at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground in London. The film is slated to release in 2022.
Taapsee was recently seen in another sports drama, "Rashmi Rocket". She has a busy year ahead, with films like 'Looop Lapeta', Anurag Kashyap's 'Dobaaraa' and thriller 'Blurr', her maiden production venture.
