As the Taliban seized the capital city of Kabul in Afghanistan, several Bollywood celebrities expressed their fear and sadness over the grim situation.

Kabir Khan, who made his directorial debut with 'Kabul Express', shared a series of striking pictures from there with a broken heart emoji.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap shared an appeal from Sahraa Karimi, an Afghan filmmaker, who in her letter talked about the atrocities faced by the Afghans, and Kabul's tragic situation.

Taking to Instagram, actress Rhea Chakraborty urged global leaders to stand up for women being sold in Afghanistan. 

Bhumi Pednekar wrote that she is heartbroken by what is happening in Afghanistan.

'Taare Zameen Par' actress Tisca Chopra shared a throwback childhood photo from Kabul and expressed her grief over the situation.
