Tamil Nadu: couple ties the knot 60 feet underwater

V Chinnadurai and S Swetha, a Chennai-based couple tied the knot in a ceremony unlike any other, off the coast of Neelankarai!

The duo got married, 60 feet underwater, early morning on the 1st of February, when the waters were calm.

Chinnadurai is a licensed scuba driver cum software engineer and the bride Swetha is a software engineer who began to learn scuba diving one month ago, a Times of India report said.

Both dressed up in traditional attires for their unique ceremony- while Swetha wore a koorai saree, Chinnadurai donned a veshti. The entire ceremony was videographed, as the duo came out of the sea to family members who cheered them on.
