Android 13 features now available on older devices with Extension SDK

Google has released its Extension Software Developer Kit (SDK) that allows developers to add Android 13 features to apps running on earlier versions of Android 11 and 12. This means that users with older devices can now access features like the Photo Picker, which is exclusive to Android 13.

The Extension SDK is publicly available and serves as a testing platform for the upcoming Android Privacy Sandbox, which aims to replace the current ad-tracking system.
