Apple has recently introduced Rapid Security Response updates for iPhones, iPads, and Macs to provide users with quick and critical security fixes. These updates are smaller in size and target important system libraries, the Safari browser, and the WebKit framework stack. By default, these updates are enabled, but users can disable them from the Settings menu if they prefer to receive the security patches in the next regular software update. Additionally, Apple allows users to remove any automatically applied security updates by selecting "Remove Security Response" in the settings. After the security update is applied, the device will need to be restarted. Devices that have been recently updated will have a slightly different version number or name.
