Apple has announced the new Apple Watch Series 8, and an update to the Apple Watch SE, along with the all-new Apple Watch Ultra.
The Watch Series 8 includes a new temperature sensor, can track temperature changes as slight as 0.1 degrees Celsius at intervals of every five seconds, and can be used to track ovulation. All tracking data, Apple says, is end-to-end encrypted.
The Apple Watch Series 8 also includes two new motion sensors: an improved gyroscope and a new accelerometer. These are used for the new car crash detection feature, which can detect if the user is in a severe car crash and notify emergency services and emergency contacts.
The Watch Series 8 gets an 18-hour battery life, which can be extended to 36 hours with the new low-power mode, which will be available on watches Series 4 and above using WatchOS 9.
The Watch Series 8 will be priced starting at ₹45,900 for the GPS only model, and ₹55,900 for the Cellular + GPS model. Customers can order it starting today, and it will be available in stores from September 16.

The Apple Watch Ultra is a new rugged premium, rugged smartwatch. It has a new design with a bigger display and a new design, focused on exploration and outdoor activity.
The Watch Ultra gets a new 49mm titanium case, a redesigned digital crown, and a new action button. The buttons and crowns are designed to work with gloves. There’s a new sapphire crystal display with a brightness of up to 2,000 nits. There are three built-in microphones.
All Watch Ultra models come with cellular connectivity, and get an extended battery life of up to 36 hours, or up to 60 hours on low-power mode.
The Ultra has improved multi-band GPS, and a host of other features aimed at extreme sports enthusiasts. It comes with three new bands: Alpine, Trail, and Ocean, which cater to different environments
The Apple Watch Ultra is priced at ₹89,900 for all models. Customers in India can order it starting today, and it will be available in stores from September 23.
The new Apple Watch SE is 20% faster than the previous model, and supports the crash detection feature from the Series 8. It will be priced starting at ₹29,900. It can be ordered today, and will be available starting September 16.
Apple has launched a new version of the AirPods Pro, with its new H2 chip that boasts better sound quality and noise cancellation. The new AirPods Pro come with a new charging case that supports Find My and comes with a speaker. Along with Lightning and Qi wireless charging support, it can also be charged with the Apple Watch charger. Apple also claims that the new AirPods Pro can last up to 6 hours on a single charge.
The new AirPods Pro are priced at ₹26,900 in India, and be ordered from September 9, with availability from September 23.
