Asus Zenbook 17 Fold laptop with a foldable display has been launched globally.

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold specifications

The Windows 11-powered Asus Zenbook 17 Fold features a 17.3-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 x 2,560 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The display is a VESA-certified HDR True Black 500 screen with full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Pantone certification. According to the manufacturer, the display has a maximum brightness of 500 nits.

The display can be folded down to a size of 12.5 inches with a resolution of 1,280 x 1,920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2.

The new Asus laptop is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU and an Intel Iris Xe graphics processing unit. The Zenbook 17 Fold has 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

Two thunderbolt 4 ports and a 3.5mm combination audio jack are included. In addition, it has a touchpad. It has a 5MP AI camera with 3D noise reduction and an IR feature for optics. It also features a four-speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos audio certified by Harman Kardon.

There is also an integrated microphone with compatibility for the voice assistants Cortana and Alexa.

The 75Wh battery in the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold is rated to provide up to 9.5 hours of battery life with the screen folded and 8.5 hours with the screen unfurled. It also includes a USB Type-C 64W power adaptor. 

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold price

The pricing of the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold is $3,499. According to Asus, the laptop will be available worldwide in the fourth quarter of this year. It will only be available in the Tech Black colour option. In India, Asus has not yet announced plans to market the Zenbook 17 Fold.
