Asus has confirmed that the Zenfone 9 will go official globally on July 28. It will be initially unveiled in Taiwan, Germany and the USA, with its India launch details not known as of now.
The phone’s design has also been revealed by the company and it includes a punch-hole display up front and a dual-camera setup at the back.
The expected specs of the Zenfone 9 include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 5.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with gimbal stabilisation, and a 4,300 mAh battery.
Asus also launches a flipping camera version of the Zenfone every year. However, the teaser shows no sign of a "Zenfone 9 Flip", which means that either that phone is cancelled or will be launched at a later date.
