LG has showcased a unique port free TV at the ongoing 2023 CES.
The new LG M3 OLED TV series will be available in three sizes: 97 inches, 83 inches, and 77 inches.
To avoid tangled cable management, the M3 relocates all of its standard TV ports to a wireless receiving unit. LG calls this technology "Zero Connect," and claims that the box can wirelessly offer up to 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Ideally, you'd be able to plug everything in on the other side of the room while only worrying about the display's power cord.
Of course, latency may be a potential issue with the M3 when it ever hits the market. LG claims to have created algorithms that will allow the receiver box to always find the clearest wireless path to the TV, even if humans or animals move about in the room. You may also physically relocate the antenna on the box if necessary.
The M3 TV series' price is yet to be announced by LG.
