Popular AI chatbots ChatGPT and Google Gemini are currently down for users globally.
Interestingly, both services are not related to each other, but are still inaccessible at the same time.
There has been no official word from OpenAI or Google regarding this issue.
ChatGPT and Google Gemini have become increasingly similar since the release of Gemini Ultra 1.0, which makes it more competitive with GPT-4.
Both offer a free service, a subscription service that is virtually comparable in price, and have similar interfaces and use cases. The differences are primarily beneath the hood, in their language models.
They are also used for many comparable functions, and users enter a query to receive a result.
Both pose privacy issues regarding the way user data is used. However, they have different training models, data sources, user experiences, and data storage methods.
