Dyson, the company known for making fans, vacuum cleaners, and other appliances, have announced their first foray into the audio space. The Dyson Zone are a pair of ANC headphones that also act as an air purifier.
The Dyson Zone has a removable ‘visor’ attachment that includes a miniature version of Dyson’s air purifier technology. It pulls in air from the ear cups, and pushes it through a 2-stage purifier system.
The Dyson Zone automatically adjusts to deliver the correct amount of air in any setting, and blocks the wind from blowing non-purifier air into a user’s nose and mouth.

Dyson has not revealed the audio specs of the Dyson Zone, but has said that the headphones will support active noise cancellation. They will also flaunt a 40-hour battery life, and offer quick charging over USB-C.
If used with the air-purifying visor, the Dyson Zone’s battery life will range from 1 hour to 4.5 hours.
Dyson has not revealed any pricing information about the Dyson Zone yet, but the device is set to launch later this year.
