Good news for game aficionados: Sony PS5 is witnessing another price cut in India. For those hunting for an opportune moment to get their hands on the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition, this might just be the right time.

Let's delve deeper into this enticing offer and discover where you can avail of this heavy discount.

Limited-time price slash for the Sony PlayStation 5

Sony is set to delight gamers by slashing₹7,500 off the PS5 price in India. It's crucial to note that this exciting price drop pertains only to the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition.

Sony's adjusted PS5 pricing strategy in India

In the previous year, Sony had adjusted the pricing for both its PlayStation 5 versions. The PlayStation 5 Disc Edition and the Digital Edition witnessed a price surge of ₹5,000, retailing at ₹54,990 and ₹44,990, respectively, from their initial prices.

With the current price cut of ₹7,500 on the Disc Edition, it's now available for a tantalizing ₹47,490. Meanwhile, the Digital Edition retains its price at ₹44,990.

When and where to avail of the PS5 discount

This special discount will be active from August 24 to September 2, 2023. Those looking for where to buy discounted PS5 can explore platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopatsc, Reliance, Croma, and Vijay Sales, among others.

It's worth mentioning that Sony had previously offered a similar PS5 discount in India. The past promotion, running from July 25 to August 7 2023, also reduced the price by ₹7,500, making it ₹47,490 for certain retailers. Another promotional campaign in May slashed ₹5,000 off the console's price.

Inside the PlayStation 5: Key specifications

The PS5 specs are nothing short of remarkable. Powered by a tailored eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU and a dedicated AMD Radeon RDNA 2-based GPU, it boasts an impressive 10.28 teraflops of graphical capacity.

The Sony PlayStation 5 specs further reveal a unique feature, allowing variable frequencies for both the PS5's CPU and GPU. This may give the graphics a slight boost when the CPU isn't working hard.

Moreover, the console comes with a spacious 825GB storage and a remarkable throughput of 5.5GB/s.
