Amazon introduced three new Echo Dot fifthe-generation models: the standard Echo Dot, the Echo Dot with Clock, and the Echo Dot Kids.

The regular Echo Dot now boasts a new full-range driver with the largest excursion of any Echo Dot, which is said to provide better vocals and twice the bass performance whilst maintaining the same size.

The Echo Dot now also has a temperature sensor, allowing you to ask Alexa to turn on your smart fan when the temperature becomes too high. In addition, an accelerometer enables tap gestures.

The most helpful new feature will be mesh networking, courtesy of Eero, a company that Amazon purchased in 2019. With Eero Built-in, the new Echo Dot models function as mesh wireless extenders to improve Wi-Fi performance across your home. Each device may extend network coverage by 1,000 square feet.

Amazon will also add the Eero Built-in function to its 4th Generation Echo and 4th Generation Echo Dot devices, with the former receiving the capability on October 20 and the latter receiving it in the coming months.

The Echo Dot fifth-generation with Clock is similar to the regular model with the exception of its display, which has been updated to a high-density dot matrix. When you ask Alexa for information, you may also see the title or artist of the currently playing music, the weather, a computation or unit of measurement, calendar event times, and more.

The Echo Dot Kids is similar to the normal Echo Dot, except that it is available in two distinct patterns: owl and dragon. Subscribers to Amazon Kids+ will also receive unique Alexa voices tailored to the two varieties. You receive a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ and a two-year worry-free guarantee.

The Echo Dot costs $50, while the Echo Dot with Clock and Echo Dot Kids both cost $60. India price details of these new smart speakers are not yet known.
