Instagram is extending access to its Creator Marketplace via its API, making it easier for brands to work with third-party creator marketing platforms.

The API expansion is claimed to provide more structured project briefs and prioritised DMs for those using platforms Aspire, Captiv8 and CreatorIQ.

The move is intended to broaden Instagram's ecosystem of collaboration, giving brand agencies access to the creator marketplace to manage collaborations with small cohorts of partners.

Agencies will also have access to a dedicated folder that tracks creator conversations and progress updates.
