Intel launches Arc A350M and A370M discrete GPUs for laptops

Intel has launched its first ever discrete GPUs, after many years of anticipation. The Intel Arc A350M and A370M GPUs are entry-level models meant for thin and light laptops. Intel has also announced the Arc 5 and Arc 7 series GPUs, meant for higher-end gaming laptops, which will be available later this year.

The Arc A350M and A370M include 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and up to 8 Xe cores, and 8 ray tracing units. The A350M will support TDPs of 25 - 35W, while the A370M will support TDPs from 35 - 50W. Both cards also get a 64-bit memory bandwidth.

DirectX 12, variable rate shading, and ray tracing are supported by all Intel Arc GPUs. The chips also support hardware AV1 video encoding, and the latest HDMI and DisplayPort standards. Intel has promised 1080p 60fps performance in many popular games with the A370M.

Many top laptop manufacturers, including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Samsung, have confirmed that they will launch laptops with Intel’s A-series GPUs this year.
