Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has criticised Apple's recently launched Vision Pro headset, calling it a costly product that provides no "magical solutions".
Speaking in a company-wide meeting, Zuckerberg suggested that Meta's own VR Quest headsets are much cheaper and bring people together, in contrast to Apple's promotional videos that show people being isolated.
He noted that Apple made design trade-offs, including offering a metal design and a high-resolution display, but these resulted in a seven-fold increase in cost and requires a wired connection because it does not have an in-built battery.
