Mobec Innovations announced on Wednesday that it will provide doorstep charging for electric vehicles in Delhi-NCR. Initially, over 2 lakh EV users can book the service through the company's app. By the end of the first quarter of FY23-24, the company plans to expand to Tier-I cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Jaipur. Using fast charge technology, Mobec's mobile charging vans can achieve an optimal 80 per cent charge in a short time. Harry Bajaj, the founder and CEO, stated that the company received a positive response from consumers in Delhi-NCR, leading them to invest in resolving challenges of accessibility, availability, and infrastructure insufficiency in top metro cities.Delhi's transport department reported that the city's electric vehicle policy, which will be three years old in August, has achieved around 86 per cent of its measures and targets so far.
