Asus ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro gaming phones launched in India: check price, specs

Asus has launched their flagship gaming phones, the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro, in India. The smartphones offer the Snapdragon 888+ chipset and a 144Hz Samsung E4 display panel, along with shoulder air triggers that have come to define Asus’ ROG line of smartphones.

ROG Phone 5s price and availability

The ROG Phone 5s is priced at ₹49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB variant will cost ₹57,999. The ROG Phone 5s Pro, meanwhile, has launched with a price of ₹79,999 for 18GB + 512GB. The smartphones will be available to purchase from Flipkart starting February 18.

ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro specs

The ROG Phone 5s is powered by the Snapdragon 888+ chipset, with the Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphones offer up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.

It offers a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display, with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nits of peak brightness. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. For audio, the phone offers a dual front-firing stereo speaker setup, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For optics, the phone offers a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front is a 24MP selfie camera.

Keeping the lights on is a 6,000mAh battery, along with 65W fast charging support. The smartphone comes with Android 11 with the ROG UI interface on top.

The ROG Phone 5s Pro shares much of the same specifications as the ROG Phone 5s, except for the fact that the phone only comes in a single 18GB + 512GB variant. On the back, it features a PMOLED display instead of the dot RBG display seen on the regular ROG Phone 5s.
