ASUS is gearing up to launch its next flagship gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. The device recently made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing some key specifications, including the chipset, RAM, and software.
The ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has a specific model number, ASUS_AI2401_D. According to a Geekbench listing found by MySmartPrice, this phone is equipped with the new Android 14 OS and has a large 24GB of RAM. This follows the previous sighting of a model with 16GB RAM on Geekbench.
The ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. On Geekbench, the phone scored 2,235 points in the single-core test and 7,098 points in the multi-core test.
For comparison, the 16GB RAM version scored 2,213 points in the single-core and 7,408 points in the multi-core tests. Other than the options for 16GB and 24GB RAM, the Android 14 OS, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will also have 65W fast charging.
