Samsung has launched the long-rumoured Galaxy S21 FE smartphone at CES 2022. The smartphone brings flagship-level specs seen on the Galaxy S21 series. Samsung’s Galaxy S22 flagship series is also expected to launch next month.
The Galaxy S21 FE is said to be available starting January 11 through Samsung.com and online retailers. However, Samsung has said that availability will vary by market, so there is no confirmation on when the phone will be available to purchase in India.
In the US, the Galaxy S21 FE will start at $699, or around ₹52,000, for the 6GB + 128GB variant. India pricing details have not yet been released by Samsung.

The Galaxy S21 FE is said to be powered by a 5nm octa-core processor, which will vary by market region. Depending on the region, this will either be the Snapdragon 888 chipset, or more likely the Exynos 2100 chipset, which was also used in the Galaxy S21 series models in India.
The smartphone will also come with up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The Galaxy S21 FE runs One UI 4, based on Android 12.
The Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The under-display fingerprint sensor used here is optical, unlike the ultrasonic sensor used in the Galaxy S21 series.
For optics, the Galaxy S21 FE gets a triple rear camera setup, with a 12MP main wide camera that gets OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 123° field of view, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 30x Space Zoom support. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies.
Keeping the lights on is a 4,500mAh battery, with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The phone also gets reverse wireless charging support. The Galaxy S21 FE is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
