Early details surrounding the CMF Phone (1), the first smartphone from Nothing's sub-brand CMF, have been leaked by 91Mobiles.

Targeting a price segment below the Nothing Phone lineup, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to be a more affordable option with potentially scaled-back specifications.

CMF Phone 1 expected price

The leak suggests that the CMF Phone (1) could launch at a competitive price point of around ₹12,000 in the Indian market.

This positions it significantly lower than the Nothing Phone (2a)'s price tag of ₹23,999, potentially attracting budget-conscious consumers.

The CMF Phone (1) is rumoured to feature a plastic body, a common choice for entry-level smartphones to achieve a lower price point. The front of the phone is also expected to be protected by some form of Gorilla Glass, ensuring basic scratch resistance.

Colour options might include classic black and white alongside a more vibrant orange, catering to a wider range of user preferences.

While specifics remain unconfirmed, leaks suggest the CMF Phone 1 could sport a 6.5-inch display, offering a comfortable viewing experience without being excessively large.

The camera department might see a single rear sensor, potentially catering to basic photography needs. The phone is also rumoured to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset, enabling access to next-generation cellular networks.

Software-wise, the CMF Phone (1) might come pre-installed with a limited version of Nothing OS.

While full access to all features may not be available, the phone could benefit from 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

Additionally, the CMF Phone (1) is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery, potentially offering a full day's worth of usage on a single charge. The phone might also support 33W fast charging for quicker power replenishment.
