Google has collaborated with iFixit to launch a self-repair program for their Pixel phones. Following similar moves by Apple and Samsung, Google will now provide step-by-step repair guides and genuine spare parts for all Pixel phones from the Pixel 2 onwards. The program will be available in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and some EU countries.

The spare parts available for Pixel phones will include batteries, replacement displays, and cameras. These will be sold separately on iFixit, or along with iFixit Fix Kits which include tools for conducting the repair.

Step-by-step repair guides are currently available for all phones up to the Pixel 5, while iFixit is currently working on guides for the Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro.
