A new leak about the battery capacities of the anticipated iPhone 16 series have surfaced online.
The leaked details, shared through Weibo by a reliable tipster, shed light on the potential battery sizes for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.
According to the leak, the standard iPhone 16 might be equipped with a 3,561mAh battery, while the larger iPhone 16 Plus could sport a 4,006mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to house a 3,355mAh cell, and the top-tier iPhone 16 Pro Max could boast a 4,676mAh battery.
The leaked information suggests an interesting trend in battery capacities compared to the previous generation.
The iPhone 16 is rumored to feature a 5.8 percent increase in battery size, while the iPhone 16 Pro may see a 2 percent boost compared to their respective predecessors.
Notably, if the speculated 4,676mAh battery for the iPhone 16 Pro Max holds true, it would mark a significant 5.7 percent increase over the iPhone 15 Pro Max's 4,422mAh cell.
However, the purported 4,006mAh battery for the iPhone 16 Plus would represent an 8.6 percent decrease from the iPhone 15 Plus's 4,383mAh unit.
These leaked details should be taken with a grain of salt until officially confirmed by Apple.
