Motorola has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, set to debut in India. The Lenovo owned company has just announced via a post on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle that the upcoming smartphone will launch in India next week.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is scheduled to launch on May 16th. This marks the second release in the series in India following the Edge 50 Pro. The upcoming launch event will be hosted at 12 pm IST. We’ve learnt that the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display, achieving a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, the phone offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
The device showcases a versatile camera setup, including a 50MP OIS-enabled primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera. It is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone runs on the Android 14-based Hello UI and is designed to support 15 different 5G bands and Wi-Fi 6. Other notable features include 68W fast charging, an IP68-rated water-repellent design, and stereo speakers.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Motorola’s official site, and at all leading retail stores in India from May 16th. The device will be launched in three color variants: Marshmallow Blue, Forest Blue, and Hot Pink.
In Europe, the phone was priced at EUR 399, approximately Rs. 35,900. The price for the Indian market has not been officially disclosed. However, it is anticipated to be slightly lower than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which starts at Rs. 31,999 in India.
