Motorola has officially announced the launch of its new flagship, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India. This powerful device boasts impressive features like an ultra-fast 144Hz display, the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a versatile camera setup, and incredibly rapid 125W charging. The phone also offers wireless charging at 50W.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro arrives in India in two variants. The base model features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs 31,999 and includes a 68W charger. A higher-tier option offers 12GB of RAM and the same 256GB storage capacity for Rs 35,999, bundled with a 125W charger for maximum charging speed.
Motorola is providing a Rs. 2,250 instant discount on HDFC credit and debit card EMI transactions, along with a Rs. 2,000 exchange bonus.
The phone will be available for its first sale on April 9th via Flipkart. Color options include Black Beauty, Luxe Lavender, and Moonlight Pearl.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro stands out with its 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display, offering a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Powering the device is Qualcomm's capable Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP primary camera with OIS, described as an AI-powered pro-grade camera. It's joined by a 10MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom) and a 13MP ultra-wide camera that also handles macro and depth photography. The battery capacity is 4,500mAh, supporting both 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the software side, the phone offers a near-stock Android experience with Android 14 and the Hello UI overlay. Motorola promises three major OS upgrades (up to Android 17) and four years of security updates. Additional features include Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
