Motorola is set to expand its smartphone lineup in India later this week with the Moto G64 5G. Ahead of the launch, Motorola has revealed the specs and details of the smartphone. Here’s a quick roundup of everything we know about the smartphone till now.
This successor of the Moto G54 5G is being touted as the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor.
The Moto G64 5G will make its debut with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display, which boasts a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother navigation and enhanced visual clarity. The screen is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass.
This model will be available in two configurations: one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and a higher variant offering 12 GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Both models will support up to 24GB of extended RAM and 1TB of expandable storage through a microSD card.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP rear camera system, which includes a primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization. An 8MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8MP macro and depth sensor complement the setup. A 16MP front camera caters to selfies and video calls.
A robust 6,000mAh battery, capable of supporting 33W TurboPower fast charging, powers the Moto G64 5G. This feature ensures long-lasting battery life and quick recharges.
The smartphone will run on Android 14 straight out of the box, with Motorola committing to three years of security updates and a planned upgrade to Android 15.
The design of the Moto G64 5G features a sleek profile with a rectangular camera module at the rear and a punch-hole display at the front. It will be available in three appealing color variants: Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Ice Lilac. While the exact price of the Moto G64 5G will be disclosed at the launch event, it is anticipated to be competitively priced under Rs 20,000 with a starting price of Rs 15,999. This aligns with the company’s pricing strategy for previous models in the G series.
