The OnePlus 12 is all set for its big reveal on December 5 in China. The device has been shrouded in secrecy, but a recent leak on Oppo Mall has shed light on the OnePlus 12 design and its available colours.
The leaked image reveals that the OnePlus 12 design bears resemblance to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. It features a unique circular camera module on the back, which houses three cameras and additional sensors, marked by a Hasselblad 'H' logo.
The phone will come in three colours: Classic Black, Pristine White, and Vibrant Green. The front of the OnePlus 12 is expected to boast a curved-edge OLED screen.
The OnePlus 12 specifications hint at a high-end device. The OnePlus 12 display is rumoured to be a 6.82-inch BOE X1 OLED panel, offering a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
This could make the display both vibrant and fluid. The brightness is speculated to reach up to 3,000 nits, ensuring clarity even under bright sunlight.
The device is expected to run on ColorOS 14-based Android 14 in China, with a global version running OxygenOS 14-based Android 14, likely to be released in January 2024.
The OnePlus 12 camera setup is expected to be top-notch. It might include a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear camera array featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
In terms of performance, the OnePlus 12 processor is likely to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, providing robust performance.
This would be complemented by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample storage space. The OnePlus 12 battery is expected to be a 5,400mAh unit with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
