While the OnePlus 12 is still a few months away from its official debut, a popular Chinese tipster has revealed some intriguing facts about the phone's camera system.
The successor to the OnePlus 11 5G is rumoured to feature a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera system, led by a powerful 50-megapixel Sony 1/1.4-inch primary sensor.
This is the same 50-megapixel triple rear camera configuration that was present in the OnePlus 11 5G.
It is expected to have a Hasselblad triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope camera capable of 3x optical zoom.
This camera setup seems to offer a slight enhancement compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11 5G.
Additionally, the OnePlus 12 is rumoured to run on the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
It is anticipated to be equipped with a robust 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The leaked information also suggests that the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.7-inch fluid LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.
Running on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14, the smartphone is expected to offer a seamless and intuitive interface.
For selfies, the OnePlus 12 might come with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a hole punch cutout on the display.
It is also likely to include an alert slider for easy notification management and an in-display fingerprint scanner for seamless authentication.
In terms of storage and memory, the OnePlus 12 is rumoured to offer 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, providing ample space for all your apps, files, and media.
The OnePlus 12 is expected to be launched in China in December 2023, with its India launch likely to happen sometime in Q1 2024.
