The new OnePlus 12R smartphone that comes with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and OxygenOS 14, was introduced in India as a more affordable option compared to the OnePlus 12.
This device has now started to receive its first software update in India since its launch.
The update is particularly noteworthy as it precedes the phone's sale start date of February 6. It focuses on enhancing the device's camera capabilities, improving system stability, and optimizing power consumption in certain scenarios.
OnePlus has rolled out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.307 (EX01) update to the OnePlus 12R devices in India. This 400MB update is designed to boost both the performance and stability of the system.
Additionally, it enhances the stability and compatibility with networks and Bluetooth connections, ensuring a smoother experience for users.
One significant area of improvement in this update is the OnePlus 12R's camera. OnePlus has made specific enhancements to the rear camera setup, focusing on improving photography quality, especially indoors.
This first software update also brings optimizations that help reduce power consumption, potentially extending the battery life of the device. With the promise of a global rollout soon, users around the world can look forward to these updates.
