OnePlus is preparing to introduce the OnePlus Ace 3 in the Chinese market soon. The same phone is very likely to launch globally as the OnePlus 12R.
A new leak has shed light on the upcoming device's specifications and features.
Digital Chat Station, a renowned tipster, revealed that the OnePlus Ace 3, or OnePlus 12R 5G, will feature a revised camera setup, excluding the previously rumoured telephoto sensor.
Instead, the device will boast a 50MP Sony IMX 9xx primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The primary sensor will support OIS and EIS, while the ultrawide lens will support EIS.
The OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to flaunt a 6.78-inch BOE X1 Oriental OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz LTPO panel.
The display will feature a centred punch hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera and will offer a peak brightness of 4500 nits with a PWM dimming rate of 2160Hz.
Additionally, the device will come with a curved screen, a metal frame, and will be available in grey, blue, and gold colour options.
Certifications have indicated that the device will support 100W wired fast charging and will be powered by a 5500mAh battery.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 12R will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and will run on Color OS 14 based on Android 14 for the Chinese variant, and Oxygen OS 14 for the international variant.
It will be available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
