OnePlus Nord 3 5G: OnePlus has yet to officially engage its fans in anticipation of its upcoming Nord series smartphone. However, a recent post on its community forum unintentionally revealed some information about the device.
The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to succeed the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, which was launched as a mid-range smartphone in India last year. While there have been unofficial reports suggesting a July release in India, an official post now confirms the launch.
Recently, OnePlus shared a post regarding its "The Lab" campaign, which allows tech enthusiasts to review its handsets prior to the official launch. This post finally confirms that the upcoming phone will be named the OnePlus Nord 3.
It further explains that participants in the program will be required to submit their reviews of the shared handsets by July, after which the reviews will be published. However, OnePlus did not disclose a specific date. As part of the Lab program, only six users will be selected to review the upcoming Nord product.
An earlier report indicated that the OnePlus Nord 3 was expected to be released in June. The report also included leaked images of the alleged OnePlus Nord 3 and its packaging.
According to a more recent report, the OnePlus Nord 3 was spotted on a Geekbench website, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The report also mentioned other key specifications, such as a variant with 16GB of RAM. In a test conducted on June 8, the phone achieved a score of 1,153 points in Geekbench's single-core test and 3,180 points in the multi-core test.
It is possible that the phone could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was launched earlier this year in China. This smartphone boasts a 6.74-inch 2.5D AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution.
It is equipped with three rear cameras, including a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it features a 16-megapixel front camera.
The phone offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, it is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports up to 80W wired charging.
