OnePlus has expanded its smartwatch lineup with the introduction of the OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue edition in select European markets.
This latest addition was announced following its initial release in Black Steel and Radiant Steel color options at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 held in February earlier this year.
The OnePlus Watch 2 price for the Nordic Blue edition is set at EUR 349, approximately Rs. 31,200. It is available for pre-order in European countries, including the UK, Germany, and Ireland. Despite its availability in Europe, there is no confirmed launch date for the OnePlus Watch 2 in India yet.
The OnePlus Watch 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and peak brightness of 600 nits. Protected by 2.5D sapphire crystal, the display ensures durability and clarity.
This device is powered by the Snapdragon W5 SoC and supports both Wear OS 4 and a real-time operating system (RTOS), which facilitates background activities.
The smartwatch is equipped with 32GB of internal storage and offers over 100 sports modes, along with sleep and health tracking capabilities. It also supports standalone music playback and Bluetooth calling, thanks to its integrated microphone and speaker.
The OnePlus Watch 2 battery life impressively reaches up to 100 hours in Smart Mode and extends to 12 days in Power Saver Mode, thanks to its 500mAh battery.
This feature sets it apart in terms of longevity compared to other smartwatches in the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.
In comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, the OnePlus Watch 2 stands out with its dual-engine architecture, longer battery life, and comprehensive health tracking.
Addressing durability, the OnePlus Watch 2 is designed to be robust with a stainless-steel chassis and a military-grade MIL-STD-810H build. It also features 5ATM water resistance and an IP68 rating, making the watch dust and splash resistant.
For connectivity, the smartwatch includes GPS. It also supports Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0, enhancing its utility and compatibility.
Currently, the OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue can be purchased through OnePlus's online stores in the specified European regions.
While Indian customers await news regarding the local launch, the OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue remains a significant release for the brand in Europe, highlighting its commitment to expanding its wearable offerings.
