The OnePlus Watch made its debut in March 2021, offering users a range of features and a sleek design. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited news of its successor.

A recent leak now suggests that the OnePlus Watch 2 could be launched in 2024, bringing with it a circular display - a design trend that OnePlus has been embracing in its recent products.

Leak Reveals OnePlus Watch 2 Launch Timeline

Renowned tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) took to social media to disclose details about the upcoming OnePlus Watch 2.

According to Jambor, the smartwatch is set to hit the market in 2024 and will feature a circular display, similar to the previous OnePlus Watch and other recent OnePlus products like the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Pad.

This leak aligns with leaked design renders of the OnePlus 12, which also showcases a round camera module.

Expected Upgrades and Features

While specific details regarding the OnePlus Watch 2's specifications remain undisclosed, it is anticipated that the second-generation smartwatch will come with several improvements over its predecessor.

The original OnePlus Watch runs on a custom RTOS (Real-Time Operating System), and it is likely that the OnePlus Watch 2 will continue to operate on the same operating system, offering seamless integration with OnePlus devices.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to retain the elegant and functional design that OnePlus is known for.

The original OnePlus Watch boasts a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass protection, providing a crisp and vibrant viewing experience. It also offers up to 14 days of battery life, ensuring long-lasting usage without frequent recharging.

In terms of connectivity, the OnePlus Watch 2 is likely to support Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou, enabling users to stay connected and track their activities with ease.

Additionally, the smartwatch will likely maintain its IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance, as well as 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for various environments and activities.
