China’s Oppo has officially unveiled its Oppo Reno 12 series smartphones. With the announcement in its home country, an India launch is anticipated soon. Oppo Reno 12 Series Upcoming Launch Reveals  

The Oppo Reno 12 series, comprising the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro, has been introduced in China. These models boast cutting-edge hardware and advanced AI features. Both smartphones feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. They support IP65 dust and water resistance, ensuring durability. 

Oppo Reno 12 Series Features and Specs 

The Oppo Reno 12 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity processor 8250 Star Speed Edition, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. The smartphone features a 50-megapixel camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front houses another 50MP camera. 

Other notable features include: 

• 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. 
• Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity.

Oppo Reno 12 Pro Features and Specs 

The Oppo Reno 12 Pro comes with the MediaTek Dimensity processor 9200+ Star Speed Edition, offering similar RAM and storage configurations as the Reno 12. It also runs on ColorOS 14. The camera system features a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens, with a 50MP front camera.

Oppo Reno 12 Series Expected Price in India 

In China, the Oppo Reno 12 is priced starting at CNY 2,699 (approximately INR 31,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 3,199 (approximately INR 36,800). 

The Oppo Reno 12 Pro starts at CNY 3,399 (approximately INR 39,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, going up to CNY 3,999 (approximately INR 46,000) for the top-end variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. 

Oppo Reno 12 Series Availability and Launch in India 

The Oppo Reno 12 series is available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from May 31st. Given the official announcement in China, the India launch is expected to follow soon. The Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro will likely be available through major online and offline retailers across India.
