Oppo has announced the launch of ColorOS 14, touted as the global beta version with enhanced features.
The updated operating system promises to provide users with an array of innovative functionalities and a refreshed user experience.
The latest ColorOS version boasts the upgraded Trinity Engine, which aims to optimise performance and storage.
With ROM Vitalization, the system can compress app and file data, potentially saving up to 20GB of storage on standard devices.
Furthermore, RAM Vitalization seeks to improve background app retention, while CPU Vitalization balances chipset performance and power consumption.
One of the key highlights of ColorOS 14 is the introduction of a Smart Charging system. This feature utilises AI algorithms to adjust the charging current based on usage patterns, with the goal of extending the battery lifespan.
Additionally, privacy options have been augmented with the inclusion of Picture Keeper, providing an extra permission layer for accessing sensitive photos and videos. The Smart Image Matting feature allows for precise cropping of images.
ColorOS 14 also introduces Smart Touch, allowing content collection across ColorOS devices.
Moreover, Snapchat users are in for a treat with lock screen shortcuts and widgets for faster access and updates.
The interface has undergone a revamp, featuring Aqua Dynamic design, Aquamorgraphic Coloring, and new Always On Display (AOD) styles.
