A new report has now revealed the specifications of the camera, further confirming the upcoming launch of the Poco F6. Let us check all the new information now out on the Poco F6.
A recent report by publication Android Headlines has unveiled the Poco F6 camera details, highlighting a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor. It's similar to sensors utilized in the Realme 12 Pro and iQOO Z9 5G.
The primary sensor is accompanied by an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor and an OmniVision OV20B40 camera, with 20MP sensor. These details emerge from a Mi code, indicating robust camera capabilities for the Poco F6.
Speculations have long suggested that the Poco F6 will integrate the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The chipset is designed to offer flagship-grade performance at a more accessible price point.
There are talks in tech circles regarding the possibility of Poco F6 being a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which also boasts the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
As a result, the Poco F6 sparks comparisons with the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, particularly in terms of their shared Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. While both devices promise impressive performance, informed decisions about purchase can be made based on other specifications.
As per the Mi code, the Poco F6 will reportedly use AMOLED displays procured from vendors, TCL and Tianma. The Redmi phone revealed for China on the other hand has sleek bezels, with a screen, once again, similar to Poco F6’s. Additionally, reports also revealed that the Redmi phone will have 90W fast charging.
Testing for the Poco F6 is already underway in India, hinting at an imminent launch. The model numbers 24069PC21I and 24069PC21G, corresponding to Indian and global variants respectively, have surfaced in the IMEI database.
Expectations are high for a May/June launch in India, following its global debut expected sometime between April and May. In other words, the Poco F6 could potentially hit markets as early as April.
As anticipation builds towards its release, we await further official revelations regarding its features and performance.
