Following the launch of the Realme GT Neo 5 series last year, new reports confirm rumors of the Realme GT Neo 6 series in the works. The smartphone maker has been teasing the specs of Realme GT 6 Neo in China since earlier this month. The upcoming Realme GT 6 too has now surfaced in certification listings for Chinese and Indonesian markets, shedding light on its specifications.
The device is assigned the model number RMX3851, as revealed by Indonesia's SDPPI certification platform. Notably, the global version is expected to carry the same model number, according to reports from SDPPI.
FCC and CB Test certifications provide additional insights into the Realme GT 6.
The Realme GT 6 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, as seen in previous Geekbench and AnTuTu listings. These listings also reveal 16 GB of RAM and Android 14 as part of the device's specifications.
Certification listings indicate that the Realme GT 6 will feature a 2,680mAh (rated value) dual-cell battery, with the FCC mentioning a typical value of 2,750mAh. This implies a 5,500mAh dual-cell battery powering the device, as suggested by the FCC certification. The device's dimensions are reported to be 162 x 75.1 x 8.6mm, with a weight of 199 grams.
The device is anticipated to run on Realme UI 5.0 and support SuperVOOC fast charging, though the exact charging speed remains undisclosed.
While Realme GT 6 is set to make its debut in the global market, its counterpart, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, continues to be teased by the company. Details regarding the model number of the GT Neo 6 SE are yet to surface. However, speculation regarding its specifications has been ongoing.
Realme has been teasing the specifications of the GT Neo 6 SE on various platforms, including the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The handset is expected to run on an octa-core Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor.
Weibo posts reveal that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will feature a customized 8T LTPO OLED BOE display with 1.5K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 6,000 nits of local peak brightness level. Additionally, the device is said to boast a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.
