Realme has officially announced the launch of its new mid-range smartphone, the Realme GT 6T, in India on May 22nd. The company has confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, promising a high-performance Antutu score of over 1.5 million.
According to leaked information provided by tipster Abhisek Yadav, the Realme GT 6T is expected to be priced at ₹31,999. This pricing suggests that the smartphone will be positioned within a competitive market segment, offering significant features at this cost.
Images released by Realme reveal a design departure from the Realme 12 series, featuring a sliver finish with dual camera setup. The design looks similar to the Realme GT Neo 6SE that was recently launched, suggesting that 6T could be a rebranded version of it.
The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A large 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging is also anticipated.
The dual camera setup on the back is expected to include a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. A 50MP front-facing camera is also expected.
The device is likely to offer various connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
