In the recent Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Event, two flagship smartphones were unveiled - the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The launch of these devices marked a significant milestone in Samsung's foray into foldable smartphones. Alongside these devices, the Galaxy Watch 6 series and the Galaxy Tab S9 series were also introduced.
The two foldable smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy custom SoC, ensuring top-tier performance.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 price in India starts from ₹1,54,999 for the 256GB model, which comes with a substantial 12GB of RAM. The 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at ₹1,64,999 and ₹1,84,999 respectively.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 price in India starts from ₹99,999 for the 256GB variant, and ₹1,09,999 for the 512GB variant. Both devices will be available for pre-orders from July 26, with the official Galaxy Z Fold 5 release date and Galaxy Z Flip 5 release date scheduled for August 11.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 features a 7.6-inch main Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display with QXGA+ resolution. Its outer screen features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
Both screens offer a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 specifications also include a custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a 6.7-inch main Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display with full-HD+ resolution.
The secondary, or cover display, is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED folder-shaped screen. Like the Z Fold 5, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 also utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and offers up to 512GB of inbuilt storage.
Finally, both devices run on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1.1 and boast impressive camera setups and powerful battery life, demonstrating the high standards of Samsung's smartphone technology.
