The much-anticipated Vivo V29 Pro has made an appearance on the popular benchmarking platform, Geekbench, providing us with a glimpse of its key specifications.
This comes after the successful launch of the Vivo V27 lineup a few months ago. Reports suggest that the Vivo V29 series could hit the Indian and other global markets very soon, offering two models: the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo V29 Pro achieved a commendable score of 4394 points in the single-core round and an impressive 14677 points in the multi-core segment.
It's essential to note that these scores are based on Geekbench's V4.2.0 version rather than the latest V6 version.
Operating System: The phone is expected to run on the Android 13 operating system, possibly skinned with the popular Funtouch OS custom skin.
Additionally, it is speculated to come with a generous 12GB RAM. However, it is worth mentioning that there might be additional RAM options available at the time of launch.
Processor: The motherboard section of the listing sheds light on the potential chipset used in the Vivo V29 Pro – the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.
This chipset boasts a peak clock speed of 3.1GHz, offering users a seamless and powerful smartphone experience.
Display: Moving on to the display, the Vivo V29 Pro is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, featuring a punch-hole cutout for the front camera and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone is also expected to offer a smooth user experience with its 120Hz refresh rate.
Camera: When it comes to photography capabilities, the Vivo V29 Pro is said to sport a triple camera setup on the back, with a primary camera sensor of 64MP.
However, details regarding the other two sensors remain unknown for now. On the front, users can expect a high-resolution 50MP camera for capturing stunning selfies.
Battery: Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage without frequent recharging.
Moreover, the Vivo V29 Pro is rumoured to support 66W fast charging, allowing users to quickly replenish the battery when needed.
5G, 4G Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, the Vivo V29 Pro is expected to offer various options such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data synchronisation.
