The Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship smartphone has been launched by the company at an event, alongside the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X smartphones. MIUI 13, the latest version of Xiaomi’s Android-based OS, was also launched. MIUI will also be taking over as Xiaomi’s custom skin for smartwatches, smart home devices, and TVs over the coming year.
In China, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced starting at around ₹55,100 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB model will cost around ₹63,300.
The smartphone will be available in China starting December 31. Xiaomi has not announced any plans for pricing or availability in any other market yet, including India.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
It features a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate with LTPO technology. The display has a peak brightness of 1500 nits, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. The phone also a four-speaker sound system, tuned by Harman Kardon.
At the back, the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP Sony IMX707 sensor for the main camera, along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP portrait camera. For selfies, there’s a 32MP camera on the front.
Xiaomi has packed in a 4,600mAh battery that supports a blazing fast 120W fast wired charging, along with 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
