Xiaomi 14 Ultra launched with 1-inch camera sensor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 power

Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China, adding a new member to its Xiaomi 14 series which already includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. These earlier models were launched in October 2023. 

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is set to make its global debut on February 25, right before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. This latest smartphone from Xiaomi is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and features the new HyperOS user interface. It is available in various RAM and storage options and comes in three colours.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra Price

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is presented in three elegant colours: black, blue, and white. The pricing starts at CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 74,800) for the 12GB + 256GB model. 

The higher configurations, the 16GB + 512GB and the 16GB + 1TB, are priced at CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 80,600) and CNY 7,799 (roughly Rs. 89,800), respectively. An exclusive Titanium Special Edition is also available, featuring a 16GB + 1TB setup, listed at CNY 8,799 (approximately Rs. 1,01,300).

  • Display: A 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display boasting a 3,200 x 1,440-pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Xiaomi's Shield Glass adds extra display durability.
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (octa-core)
  • RAM & Storage: Up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage
  • Operating System: HyperOS (based on Android 14)
  • Cameras: A quad rear camera configuration featuring a 50MP Sony LYT900 primary sensor (1-inch, OIS), two additional 50MP sensors (ultrawide lens and optical zoom), and a 32MP front camera.
  • Battery: 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging, 80W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless.
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, and USB Type-C
  • Other: Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 dust and water resistance. The Titanium Special Edition adds two-way satellite communication.
