Former OnePlus co-founder’s new venture, Nothing, has announced that its debut Android smartphone, Nothing Phone (1), will debut globally on July 12.
However, the design of the upcoming smartphone has been officially revealed on Twitter.
As expected, the back of the phone continues with the translucent design theme that debuted on the Ear (1) Bluetooth earbuds.
The device features a dual-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The body is made of metal with a textured finish and the Nothing logo in the bottom left corner. In addition to the power and volume buttons, the Nothing Phone (1) also has a toggle switch on the back, but it's not clear what it does.
From previous teasers, it’s already known that the front of the device looks quite similar to a host of other Android smartphones out there. However, the bezels look symmetrical in the teaser, which should help give this phone a premium look.
While we still wait for more specifications to be teased, the Phone (1) is expected to be an upper mid-range device with the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor at its helm.
